North Korea has an estimated 10 to 20 nuclear weapons and fissile material for 30 to 60 nuclear weapons. It also has the capability to miniaturize nuclear warheads and mount them on missiles. North Korea’s nuclear arsenal is one of the most sophisticated and powerful in the world.<\/p>\n

There is no one answer to this question because it is difficult to accurately estimate the number of nuclear weapons and the amount of nuclear fuel that North Korea has. However, it is estimated that North Korea has enough nuclear material to produce approximately 10 nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n

Between 100-370 kilotons, North Korea has the capability of six times more powerful than the one the US dropped on Hiroshima in 1945.<\/p>\n

North Korea is working on extending the range of their ICBMs and missile experts estimate that the range could be 8,100 miles. This means that a North Korean ICBM could hit the US mainland less than 30 minutes after launch. In January 2021, Mr Kim outlined a goal of extending the flight range to about 9,300 miles.<\/p>\n
